Role: Senior Project Manager/ Producer 

Location: Kingston upon Thames, England, United Kingdom (2 Days A week From Kingston Office)

 

About the role:

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager/Producer to join us at the client's organisation and will involve working with some of the world’s best-loved brands across the UK and Europe. As a Senior Project Manager/Producer, you will develop a deep understanding of the business at a brand-level, their needs, expectations and requirements to help advise on the optimal solution.

What you will be doing:

  • Working closely with the Social Centre of Excellence team and on the ground SMM’s / Content Creators to deliver seamless project delivery and management.
  • Leading on the management of projects, ensuring plans, budgets, progress and focus on executing deliveries is maintained at all times
  • Leading on the production of project related content, incl. managing the production project and day-to-day comms between client and content creative team.
  • Being responsible for project data accuracy and daily reporting compliance.
  • Monitoring and maintaining documentation for projects including timing plans, any cost estimates and burn reports
  • Mitigating potential delivery issues and proactively resolving problems at speed.
  • Successful meeting of project deadlines and ensuring efficiency and quality of the work.
  • Ensuring adherence to creative best practices and standards, both according to the client and platform-specific guidelines, towards channel optimisation and performance.
  • Proactively managing scope creep and ensuring cost estimates are reflective of effort required on every project.
  • Effectively managing resource across projects – liaising with internal and external suppliers where needed.
  • Understanding the importance of brands and working within brand guidelines 
  • Building and maintaining relationships within our client's brand teams often through regular face to face contact and virtual meetings.
  • Managing travel and production budgets
  • Usage of project management software e.g. Asana to manage the complexity of 6 markets & differing campaign timings

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Demonstrable project management experience of ., ideally within the FMCG industry
  • Solid experience in using project management software e.g. Asana
  • Agile project management training or experience will be of benefit
  • Good understanding of production processes and success criteria
  • An ability to balance creative execution against project limitations such as schedule and budget
  • You're extremely well organised, with great attention to detail
  • You are confident in end-to-end project delivery, with the ability to run client review meetings alongside other team members
  • You cope effectively when things are up in the air and carefully manage ever shifting priorities
  • A problem solver with an understanding of the creative / social industry
  • You proactively look to make improvements in processes and make change to drive efficiencies
  • You are a team player and genuinely care about people and build collaborative working relationships. You listen well to challenge and work with people to overcome problems in a positive way
  • You work well under pressure, juggling multiple projects at any one time
  • You have strong negotiation skills
  • A real self-starter as well as experience in motivating others
  • You understand your contribution to the overall account, with experience in managing project finances  
  • Highly creative with the ability to generate ideas and practically contribute to the design studio output
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service
  • Confidence and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing client environment
  • A passionate, inspiring and curious outlook
  • The aptitude to learn new software and programmes efficiently and effectively
  • Value team performance over self-promotion
