Hortensia de Gainza began their professional career in 2006 as a web designer and positioning specialist for Brokers Online. Hortensia then worked as an account executive at Brandigital and ePEXO. In 2010, they became an account executive at Xaga, where they coordinated content for Nike and SanCor. Hortensia joined Mondelēz International in 2011 as a Senior Marketing Services Analyst, supporting digital campaigns and coordinating trainings for marketing teams. Hortensia also assisted in budget definition for media planning. Hortensia later took on the role of Consumer Conversations Coordinator for Latam, leading social listening projects and implementing global strategies. In 2017, they became the Global Content Production Manager, overseeing the implementation of a new working model and coordinating projects between marketing teams, agencies, and production companies. After leaving Mondelēz International in 2022, Hortensia worked as an Account Manager at Nobox, managing projects and collaborating with project managers. Hortensia is currently employed as a Content Production Lead at OLIVER, where they ensure a clear understanding of the brand strategy and collaborates with the team in the development of production reports.

Hortensia de Gainza received their Bachelor's degree in Advertising Communication and Public Relations from Universidad Católica Argentina, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In 2010, they completed a short-term Executive Program in Online Advertising at Universidad de Palermo.
