Nagy Abu Zeid has a diverse range of work experience in the aviation industry. Nagy worked at Oman Airports Management Company for several years, holding roles such as Vice President of Corporate Planning and Strategic Planning. Prior to that, they worked at Zurich Airport Ltd as the Head of Operations and Capacity Planning. Nagy also has experience at Swissport International Ltd and Swissport, Dusseldorf International Airport in various roles, including Senior Application & Project Manager and Customer Service Manager, respectively. Nagy began their career at Fraport AG as an Executive Management Trainee. Additionally, Nagy currently serves as the Chairman of the ACI Asia Pacific Economics Committee at Airports Council International - ACI Asia-Pacific.

Nagy Abu Zeid holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Applied Sciences, Bochum, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. Nagy also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the same university from 2000 to 2003.

In 2008, Nagy attended the University of St. Gallen, where they pursued a short-term course in Controlling for Manager. This course covered various subjects such as accounting, reporting, target costing, and the evaluation of business.

In 2009, Nagy enrolled in the ZFU International Business School, where they obtained a certification in Management Excellence. This program focused on strategy and management excellence, leadership and coaching, change management, and high performance. Nagy completed this certification in 2010.

Additionally, in August 2019, Nagy acquired a certification on Transformational Change from LinkedIn, which was taught by Aaron Dignan.
