Peiwu Zhao

Peiwu Zhao has over 17 years of work experience in the financial industry. From 2004 to 2012, they worked at JPMorgan Chase as a Decision Technology Manager, providing analytical support for various departments. Peiwu managed response and loss forecasting and implemented the Balance Transfer optimization process.

In 2012, Zhao joined Citicorp Credit Services as a Vice President of Decision Management. During their time there, they led the development of an optimization framework and built new response and segmentation models for the direct mail channel.

Since May 2021, Zhao has been working at OneMain Financial as a VP/Managing Director of Risk Analytics. Their responsibilities include leading a team in building models and strategies for underwriting, risk management, pricing, and more. Peiwu also played a crucial role in transitioning the company from manual underwriting to online decisioning and implementing advanced machine learning models.

Peiwu Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University at Buffalo. They also completed a B.S. in Management Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
