Iris Aimee Pinedo

Iris Aimee Pinedo has over 20 years of work experience in various roles, primarily in business development and operations. From 2022 to the present, they serve as the VP of Business Development at Omnex Group. Prior to that, they worked at Sma Software Inc from 2001 to 2022, where they held the position of Vice President of Business Development and Legal Compliance. In this role, they were responsible for legal and compliance issues, regulatory matters, and training staff on rules and regulations. From 2004 to 2019, Iris was the Vice President of Operations and Business Development at Choice Money Transfer Inc, where they focused on strategic planning, relationship-building, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance compliance performance.

Iris Aimee Pinedo completed their education with a Master's degree in Economics and Business Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidad Iberoamericana between 1989 and 1993. In addition to their academic qualifications, Iris also acquired the certifications of Certified Advance AML Audit Specialist (Cams Audit) from ACAMS in 2014, and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) from ACAMS in 2005.
