Ingrid Mechin-Attinost

Ingrid Mechin-Attinost has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ingrid began their career as an Intern at INRA in France, where they completed three internships between 1995 and 1998. In 1999, they joined the European Molecular Biology Laboratory as a PhD student in Hamburg, Germany. During this time, they successfully worked on two projects related to protein structure determination.

After completing their PhD, Ingrid Mechin-Attinost joined Aventis in 2003 for a post-doctoral position in Structural Biology in Vitry-sur-Seine, France. Ingrid then moved to Sanofi in 2004, where they continued their post-doctoral work and later became a Senior Research Investigator in Structural Biology in Bridgewater, NJ, USA. Ingrid held various roles at Sanofi, including Research Investigator, and was involved in in silico drug design.

In 2016, Ingrid Mechin-Attinost joined Icagen as a Senior Research Investigator, where they focused on computational sciences. Ingrid later became a Senior Principal Scientist, a position they held until 2022.

Since 2022, Ingrid Mechin-Attinost has been working at OmniAb, Inc. as an Associate Research Fellow in In Silico Sciences.

Overall, Ingrid Mechin-Attinost has gained extensive experience in computational sciences and in silico drug design through their various roles in both academic and industry settings.

Ingrid Mechin-Attinost completed their education in biochemistry, pharmacy, and psychology at Leipzig University, where they obtained a PhD degree. Ingrid pursued their studies from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 1997 to 1998, where they earned a DEA degree in crystallography and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) of biological macromolecules.
