Jonathan Theile has a strong work experience in the field of scientific research and pharmaceuticals. Jonathan is currently working as a Senior Principal Scientist at OmniAb, Inc. since November 2022. Before joining Icagen, Jonathan Theile worked at Pfizer as a Senior Scientist in Ion Channel Electrophysiology from October 2011 to June 2015. Prior to their industry experience, they served as a Post-doctoral fellow at Indiana University School of Medicine's Stark Neurosciences Research Institute from November 2009 to June 2011. Jonathan'sresearch focused on investigating the role of voltage-gated sodium channels in genetic diseases, particularly related to inherited neuropathic pain disorders.

Jonathan Theile attended Noblesville High School from 1996 to 2000. After completing high school, they enrolled at Hanover College, where they studied biology and obtained their B.A., cum laude degree in 2004. Jonathan then pursued further education at The University of Texas at Austin, from 2004 to 2009. There, they specialized in Cell and Molecular Biology - Neuroscience track and successfully earned their Ph.D. degree.
