Joshua Khani has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to 2022. Their current position is as an Informatics Scientist at OmniAb, Inc., where they started in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Editor at AJE - American Journal Experts from December 2021 to December 2022.

Joshua Khani has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and fields of study. Joshua began their undergraduate studies at Stanford University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Biology, specifically focusing on Neurobiology. In 2014, Khani enrolled at Georgetown University, completing a Master's Degree in Biotechnology the following year. Following this, they pursued their academic interests at Duke University, where they completed two degrees: a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering between 2015 and 2020, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering within the same timeframe.

In addition to their formal education, Joshua Khani has obtained several certifications. In 2014, they earned a Coursera Verified Certificate for the course "Genes and the Human Condition (From Behavior to Biotechnology)." In 2015, they completed the "Biobusiness Track" and the "Drug Design and Discovery Track" at Georgetown University Medical Center. Furthermore, in 2015, Khani obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Differential Equations. More recently, in 2022, they acquired a Learn SQL Course certification from Codecademy and completed the BetterUp Coach Development program from BetterUp.
