Muna Farid

Muna Farid has over 17 years of experience in the legal and corporate sectors. Muna began their career in 2003 as Manager Legal & Corporate Relations at Unilever Bangladesh Ltd, where they were responsible for all legal and compliance matters. In 2004, they moved to NASDAQ Dubai & Borse Dubai as SVP and Managing Director Legal and Compliance, where they were responsible for setting up legal/compliance functions, obtaining Exchange License, and negotiating with 25 international member banks and clearing & settlement agents. In 2009, they co-founded Chunati Family Trust, a charitable trust set up for the education of meritorious students in Chunati, Bangladesh. In 2010, they became General Counsel & Company Secretary at Dubai Mercantile Exchange. From 2011 to 2015, they held the position of Regional Legal Director at Reckitt Benckiser, a FTSE 20 company. From 2015 to 2017, they were Legal Director at Johnson & Johnson for Turkey, Middle East, Africa & Pakistan. In 2018, they joined Olympia Partners as Director, APAC & MENA, and in 2019, they became MESA Business Development Lead at Omniflow.

Muna Farid attended Vanderbilt University Law School and obtained their Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
