Scientific Co-Founder at Omniscope

Holger Heyn has worked in a variety of roles since 1999. Holger began their career as an Undergraduate Student at the University of Bremen in 1999. In 2005, they became a PhD Student at the Hannover Medical School, where they researched microRNA deregulation in cancer. From 2009 to 2016, they worked at IDIBELL, first as a Miguel Servet Researcher and then as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they analyzed and integrated epigenomic and genomic data. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Team Leader at the Centro Nacional de Análisis Genómico (CNAG). Holger is currently a Scientific Co-Founder at Omniscope.

Holger Heyn obtained a Licenciatura en ciencias in Molecular Biology from the University of Bremen between 1999 and 2005. During that time, they also attended the University of Glasgow from 2002 to 2003, but did not receive a degree. Holger has no additional certifications.
