Matthew Muir

Matthew Muir has had a long and varied career in the retail industry. In 2000, they began working as a Business Manager for Woolworths Limited, where they held various roles including Business Manager for Trading, Merchandise Information Systems, and Project REFRESH. In 2006, they moved to Coles Group Limited as a Project Manager for Space & Category. Matthew then moved to Coles Supermarkets in 2008 as a Buyer for Electrical, Batteries, Small Appliances & Auto Accessories. In 2009, they joined Treasury Wine Estates as a National Account Manager for Liquorland. In 2014, they became the Head of Space for Amcal, Amcal Max & Guardian at Sigma Pharmaceuticals. In 2015, they began working at 7-Eleven Australia as a Merchandising Services Manager. In 2016, they started working at FMCG Retail as a Director. In 2022, they began working at Omnistream as the Head of Operations and they also became the President of the Board for Nunawading Swimming Club Inc.

Matthew Muir attended Mentone Grammar School from 1979 to 1988. Matthew then attended Mentone Grammar from 1981 to 1998. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Computing in Information Systems from Monash University from 1990 to 1994. In 2020, they obtained a Category Management Functional Consultant certification from Blue Yonder.
