Gabriela Popescu

Gabriela Popescu began their career in 2003 as an Accountant at Contexpert AEC Services. In 2004, they moved to BDO Conti Audit as a Senior Auditor until 2006. Gabriela then joined OMV Petrom in 2007 as a Senior Internal Auditor, eventually progressing to Manager Internal Audit in 2010 and ultimately becoming the Director of Internal Audit in 2015.

Gabriela Popescu has a degree in Accounting, Auditing, and Information Systems from Academia de Studii Economice din București, obtained between 1999-2003. Gabriela also holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting from the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants UK in 2006. Additionally, they became an expert accountant from The Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania in 2007-2008 and is a Fellow member of ACCA.
