Zach Moreno

Zach Moreno is a dedicated research professional with a strong background in biological sciences, currently serving as a Research Assistant at Oncodea, focusing on early cancer screening processes. Previous experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in various labs, where Zach maintained cell cultures, executed PCR, and conducted immunocytochemistry experiments. As a QC Microbiologist Intern at Lifecore Biomedical, Zach designed a biological indicator verification assay, significantly reducing turnaround time and costs. Additionally, Zach has developed leadership skills as a Food and Beverage Team Member at Target, fostering teamwork and training new staff. Zach is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Minnesota, expected to graduate in May 2025.
