Erik S. Nelson

Erik S. Nelson has extensive experience in information technology, particularly in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Erik S. held roles such as Director of Information Technology at IDEC Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Director of IT Planning and Program Management at Biogen, Vice President of IT and Facilities at Otonomy, Inc., and Senior Director of IT Operations at Halozyme, Inc. Currently, they serve as the Head of Information Technology at Oncternal Therapeutics. Throughout their career, Erik has demonstrated leadership in IT infrastructure management, project planning, and system upgrades in support of business operations.

Erik S. Nelson holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from UCLA, an MBA in Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and has a background in Nuclear Engineering from the Nuclear Power School - Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC).
