Penelope Thompson

Penelope Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Penelope is currently working at OneTrust as the Vice President North America Solution Engineering starting from 2023. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at Salesforce, including Vice President, Solutions Specialists, Solution Engineering and Senior Director, Solution Engineering, Analytics Cloud, America. Penelope also worked as a Global Leader for Analytics Ambassadors and Blackbelts and as Manager of Sales Engineering during their tenure at Salesforce. Before joining Salesforce, Penelope worked at Oracle Corporation as a Principal Sales Consultant and at Hyperion Solutions as a Principal Solutions Consultant. Penelope also held the position of Principal Solution Consultant at Hyperion Software and was a Principal Systems Consultant at Brio Software. Penelope's career started at Mervyns, where they worked as a Department Manager. Recently, they participated as a panelist in the "Who's Job is it Anyway" Leadership Now Summit organized by PreSales Collective. Throughout their career, Penelope has demonstrated their ability to drive customer successes, achieve sales targets, lead teams, foster knowledge-sharing, and develop customized training and campaigns for sales teams.

Penelope Thompson holds a Certificate in Teaching of English as a Foreign Language from California State University, Chico. Penelope also obtained a bachelor's degree in German from the same university. Additionally, Penelope was an exchange student at Johannes Gutenberg Universitaet in Mainz, Germany, where they studied Englistik and Germanistik. Penelope has obtained several certifications, including Order-To-Cash from MANSUKH INSTITUTE OF FINANCE & MANAGMENT PRIVATE LIMITED and Business Value of Equality from Salesforce Trailhead in 2016. Penelope is also a certified Salesforce Administrator.
