Andrea Bondi

Andrea Bondi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andrea began their career in 2001 as an ICT Consultant at Novilab, where they focused on designing and implementing web application projects. Andrea also worked as a Collaborator at Gruppo HTML, where they wrote articles for html.it and pubblicaamministrazione.net.

In 2006, Andrea transitioned into the media industry as a Television Host and Journalist at Canale 11 - VideoRegione. Andrea conducted live and recorded television broadcasts and wrote journalistic news. During this time, they built relationships with customers for contract renewals.

Andrea then entered the public sector, working at Comune di Imola from 2004 to 2013. Andrea held roles as a City Council Member and later became the Deputy Mayor and Councillor. In these positions, they were responsible for various areas such as town planning, investments, e-government, and environmental projects. Andrea negotiated with public partners and large companies, integrating investments with town planning.

After their tenure in the public sector, Andrea joined Gartner in 2013 as a Client Partner. Andrea achieved outstanding results in client retention and engagement, building relationships with C-level executives from large enterprises. Andrea also mentored new hires and collaborated effectively with other teams.

In 2014, Andrea worked as a Sales Engineer at Fiksu, where they led engagements and integration experiences with important customers. Andrea collaborated with leading mobile app companies and strategic ad tech partners.

From 2015 to 2020, Andrea joined PayPal as a Senior Manager - Solution Consultant. Andrea partnered with sales and account managers, providing strategic advice on user experience, risk and fraud reduction, technical implementation, and reporting. Andrea led the technology strategy for PayPal's mobile program in the UK, contributed to product development, and delivered presentations internally and externally. Additionally, they engaged with the developer community and organized the first PayPal Mobile Tech Summit UK.

In 2020, Andrea also served as a Mentor at Career Accelerator, providing guidance and support to individuals seeking career advancement.

Most recently, Andrea joined Onfido in 2020. Andrea has held multiple roles, including Principal Solutions Consultant, Lead Solutions Engineer, Global Director of Solutions Engineering, and currently serves as the VP of Global Solution Engineering. Andrea'sresponsibilities revolve around global solution engineering and managing a team.

Andrea Bondi has a diverse education history. In 1998, they obtained a High School Diploma in Science from Liceo Scientifico Rambaldi Valeriani. Andrea then pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, completing their studies in 2008.

In 2016, Andrea obtained a certification in Project Management from the American Management Association. In 2021, they further enhanced their skillset by completing a certification program called "Command of the Message" offered by Force Management. Additionally, in 2022, they obtained a Strategic Management & Leadership Practice Award from the Chartered Management Institute.

Andrea'seducational journey continued as they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Henley Business School. Andrea'sMBA program started in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2024.
