Francesca Porter

Francesca Porter has a diverse range of work experience. Francesca currently holds the position of General Counsel at Onfido, starting in February 2020. Prior to this, they served as Legal Director at Onfido from September 2019 to February 2020. Francesca also worked as Senior Legal Counsel from August 2017 to September 2019, and briefly as Legal Counsel in August 2017, all at Onfido.

Francesca has also been involved in angel investing through their role as an Angel Investor at Ventures Together since February 2023. Francesca is a Charter Member at TechGC, starting in December 2021.

Before their time at Onfido, Francesca was a Legal Counsel at Hewlett-Packard from November 2014 to July 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Solicitor at Hogan Lovells from February 2010 to October 2014. Francesca also had a secondment as Legal Counsel at the British Paralympic Association from May 2012 to October 2012.

Francesca Porter attended The University of Manchester from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Law. In 2008 and 2009, they furthered their education at BPP Law School, obtaining a Legal Practice Course (LPC), though no specific field of study is indicated. Continuing their education, in 2016 Francesca enrolled at BPP University, where they pursued a Mini-MBA in Law.
