Judy Chan Colon

Judy Chan Colon has over 20 years of work experience in the legal field. Judy Chan is currently the Head of Legal US at Onfido, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Legal at Vim from January 2019 to June 2021. Before joining Vim, Judy worked as a Senior Counsel, Digital at Baker Hughes, a GE company from March 2017 to January 2019. Judy Chan also gained experience as a Corporate Counsel at Brocade from March 2015 to March 2017. Judy started their legal career as an Associate at Hogan Lovells, specializing in Intellectual Property, Technology, Media & Telecoms, from August 2001 to October 2005. Judy Chan then worked at Rouse, first as an Associate focusing on Intellectual Property & Technology Transactions in China from October 2006 to January 2009, and later as an Associate specializing in China Intellectual Property and Business Development from September 2011 to October 2013. Additionally, they served as a Flex Attorney at FLEX by Fenwick from December 2014 to March 2015. Overall, Judy has a diverse range of legal expertise accumulated through their various roles.

Judy Chan Colon obtained their LLB (Hons) degree in Law from Queen Mary University of London, studying from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they pursued their Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the College of Law London from 1999 to 2000. Judy then attended The University of Hong Kong from 2000 to 2001, where they achieved their PCLL degree in Legal Practice.
