Nancy Vance

Nancy Vance has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years in various industries. Nancy currently holds the position of Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Onfido, where they focus on creating a psychologically safe environment for learning about DEI, building a resilient DEI infrastructure, improving experiences of marginalized populations, and attracting diverse talent. In their previous role as the Director of Talent, Diversity, and Inclusion at Classy.org, Nancy oversaw recruitment, developed companywide programs to increase equity and standardization, and led initiatives to build diverse and inclusive teams. Before that, they were the Manager of Talent Acquisition Operations at NuVasive, where they created a leadership program and implemented high-performance work teams. Nancy also has experience as a Corporate Senior Recruiter/Trainer at The Active Network, an Internal Recruiter at Encore Capital Group, and a Talent Manager at Kforce Inc. Nancy started their career as a Senior Professional Search Recruiter at VOLT and also has teaching experience as an Instructional Liaison at Del Mar Heights Academy. Additionally, Nancy had a collegiate position as a Sales Representative at Daily Nexus UCSB, where they managed relationships, sold advertising space, and participated in ad design.

Nancy Vance obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara, graduating in the year 2004. At a later point in their education, they pursued a Human Resources (HR) Certification in Training and Development from UC San Diego. However, the specific dates of their enrollment and completion for the HR Certification are unknown.
