Sofi Karalok has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Sofi started their career in 2013 as a Recruitment Adviser at Lidl UK and later worked as a Market Researcher at Maritz Research. In 2013, they also worked as a Research Consultant at KAE, focusing on financial market research for a leading global card issuer.

From 2013 to 2014, Sofi worked as a Market Research Consultant Interim at ORC International, where they conducted financial market research for Johnson & Johnson Consumer Goods Company.

In 2016, Sofi joined The Rank Group plc as a Technical Recruitment Adviser and later became a Technology/Digital Recruitment Business Partner. Sofi'srole involved senior-level recruitment, talent attraction strategies, and managing graduate recruitment projects.

Since 2018, Sofi has been working at Onfido, a company that uses machine learning for user identity verification. Sofi initially served as a Technology Talent Manager, responsible for leveraging technology to authenticate users' identities. Later, they became the Lead Global Technology Talent, overseeing technology talent acquisition worldwide. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Technology Hiring (R&D/Product) and is due to start as Director of Talent in October 2022.

Sofi Karalok completed their education with a Master's degree in International Business from the University of Wales in 2012. Before that, they obtained a Foundation degree in Business Administration and Management from Kensington College of Business London in 2011. In addition to their formal education, Sofi Karalok also obtained a certificate in Marketing and International Affairs from Bilkent University in 2008.
