Therese Stowell

Therese Stowell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Since September 2022, they have been working as the Vice President of Product Management at Onfido, a company that specializes in digital identity verification using AI technology. Prior to that, from December 2021 to September 2022, Therese held the position of Senior Director of Product at Onfido.

Before joining Onfido, Therese worked as the Product Director at Appvia from September 2020 to December 2021. And prior to that, they had a notable tenure at Pivotal Software, Inc. where they held various roles including Product Director, Cloud Foundry, Director of Product, R&D, and Staff Product Manager from March 2016 to April 2020.

Therese also has experience working in the health and fitness industry. Therese served as the Chief Product Officer at Get Fit With from August 2015 to March 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at FoodTrade from November 2014 to August 2015.

Therese's earlier career includes owning and managing their own digital agency, Heliotrope Digital, from 2006 to 2015. Therese was the Owner and Managing Director during this time. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as the Managing Director of Local Greens from 2009 to 2013.

Before transitioning into product management roles, Therese worked as an artist from 1999 to 2005 while being self-employed. In the early years of their career, they also gained experience as a Senior Consultant at Hitachi Data Systems from 1997 to 1998 and as a Program Architect at Sony from 1996 to 1997.

Therese Stowell completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Brown University from 1983 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. In addition, Therese obtained the Agile DSDM Foundation and Practitioner certification from The Knowledge Academy in October 2014.
