Raphael Rahmani has a diverse range of work experience in the field of medicinal chemistry and research. Raphael is currently employed as a Principal Scientist at oNKo-innate Pty Ltd since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at UniQuest where they held the position of Senior Medicinal chemist - QEDDI from June 2021 to June 2022, and before that, they were a Medicinal chemist - QEDDI from July 2016 to June 2021.
Rahmani also has experience as a Research Fellow at Monash University, where they worked from March 2012 to July 2016. During their time at Monash University, they collaborated on research projects related to the synthesis of T. Brucei inhibitors, anti-malarial drugs, and infectious diseases.
Before joining Monash University, Rahmani worked as a Research chemist at Eli Lilly and Company from June 2011 to February 2012. Prior to that, they were a PostDoctoral Researcher at The University of Tokyo from January 2010 to May 2011.
Raphael obtained their PhD from Univesite Paul Cezanne, where they conducted research from October 2006 to December 2009. Rahmani also gained industry experience through internships at Laboratoires Pierre Fabre, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and THERAMEX in 2006, 2005, and 2004 respectively.
Raphael Rahmani has an extensive education history in the field of chemistry. Raphael obtained a Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from Universite Paul Cezanne (Aix-Marseille 3) from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Université Blaise Pascal (Clermont-II) - Clermont-Ferrand in 2006. Raphael also holds an Engineer degree in Fine Organic Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Clermont-Ferrand, which they completed from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their academic achievements, Raphael Rahmani attended the Centre international de Valbonne from 2001 to 2003, where they received preparation for the Graduate School entrance.
Raphael Rahmani has also obtained several additional certifications. In December 2020, they completed the Assertiveness Techniques course at the Australian Institute of Management. In March 2020, they received certification in Critical Thinking and Problem Solving from the same institution. In October 2019, they obtained a certification in Project Management Fundamentals.
