Jessica Strelitz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jessica started their career as a Technical Writer at GST Inc in 1999 and then moved on to become an Online Editor at USATODAY.com from 2000 to 2002. Jessica continued working at USA TODAY as an Online Editor (PT) from 2002 to 2010. In 2002, they also joined SmartBrief as a Senior Editor and later became the Director of Strategic Partnerships. At SmartBrief, they developed relationships with organizations to help them expand their brand reach and generate revenue. In 2007, they started their own business, PEP Cards, as the Owner until 2010. Jessica then joined SmartBrief as the Director of Strategic Partnerships from 2008 to 2013. Currently, they are the Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer at the Online News Association since 2019, where they are responsible for directing business strategy and managing partnerships. In addition, they have worked as a freelance writer for various publications focusing on food, drinks, health, and business.

Jessica Strelitz attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1994 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Professional Writing with a focus on Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing. In May 2021, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
