Jüri Pilviste

Jüri Pilviste has a diverse work experience in the field of agile project management and scrum mastering. Jüri started their career as a System Analyst at NORTAL in 2012 and worked there until 2015. Following this, they joined LHV as a System Analyst and Undercover Agile Coach in 2015 and served until 2018. During their time at LHV, Jüri collaborated with Product Managers and facilitated workshops to prioritize the development of new products.

In 2018, Jüri joined Scoro as a Scrum Master and Analyst. During their tenure, they implemented lean cycle time metrics, development dashboards, and mob programming to improve collaboration and efficiency within the team.

In 2020, Jüri moved to AFS IT Services Estonia OÜ as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach. Jüri spearheaded the adoption of agile practices in the Buy Now Pay Later domain and collaborated with Amazon to develop a white-label payment solution. Jüri also led and facilitated Scrum for multiple teams in a fully remote setting during the Covid pandemic.

Most recently, Jüri worked at Twilio as an Agile Program Manager from 2021 until 2023. In this role, they served as a Scrum Master, leading and supporting teams in developing a cloud-based contact center solution. Jüri orchestrated team-level events and guided teams through successful SAFe Program Increment quarterly planning.

Currently, Jüri is working as a Scrum Master at Onoff Telecom, starting in 2023.

Jüri Pilviste obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Tartu, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Jüri then pursued a Master's degree in Sociology from the same university from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Jüri completed a Master's degree in European Studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2011 to 2012, and a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs at the University of Melbourne in 2011. Moreover, Jüri attended Freie Universität Berlin in 2010, focusing on International/Global Studies, although it is not specified if they obtained a degree from this institution.

In terms of certifications, Jüri obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance in October 2017. Jüri also completed a Leadership Development Programme from Self II in May 2021, and obtained a Flight Level 2 Design certification from Flight Levels Academy in September 2021. Most recently, in August 2022, Jüri received a certification as a High Performance Team Coach from Erickson Coaching International.
