David Brown

David Brown is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic policy, currently serving as Senior Advisor at the Ontario Energy Board since June 1999. Previously, David held the role of Senior Policy Advisor at the same organization until retirement. Earlier work includes positions as a Senior Policy Analyst at the C.D. Howe Institute and Economist at BMO Bank of Montreal, where expertise as a financial markets economist was demonstrated. Additionally, David contributed to academia as a Lecturer at Ryerson University and a Sessional Assistant Professor at York University, having developed a course focused on international monetary systems. David holds a PhD in Economics from UCLA and an Honours BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
