Jaclin Simonetta

Jaclin Simonetta is an experienced professional in the fields of research operations and strategic planning, currently serving as a Strategic Planning Analyst at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research since April 2022. In this role, Jaclin is responsible for reporting and monitoring progress towards strategic goals and facilitating performance data analysis across the organization. Previously, Jaclin held the position of Research Operations Analyst at OICR, coordinating budget reporting and key performance indicator systems. With a background as a Research Ethics Coordinator at Mount Sinai Hospital, Jaclin oversaw the submission and approval processes for research protocols, collaborating with various stakeholders. Additional experiences include freelance editing for medical communications, completing a master's thesis on pediatric brain cancer at The Hospital for Sick Children, and engaging in summer research projects focused on molecular genetics and virology. Jaclin holds a Master of Science in Molecular Genetics and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto.
