Laszlo Radvanyi

President & Scientific Director at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research

Laszlo Radvanyi has extensive work experience in the field of immunology and cancer research. Laszlo is currently a Professor at the Department of Immunology at the University of Toronto since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as the President & Scientific Director at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research starting from May 2018.

Before their role in Ontario, Radvanyi held positions at EMD Serono, Inc. as the Senior Vice President from November 2015 to May 2018 and at Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. as the Chief Scientific Officer from July 2014 to November 2015.

Laszlo also worked as a Professor at the MD Anderson Cancer Center from January 2005 to July 2014. Earlier in their career, Radvanyi was a Senior Scientist at Sanofi Pasteur from November 2000 to January 2005, where they co-led a cancer vaccine antigen discovery and validation team.

Laszlo started their professional journey as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Joslin Diabetes Center from September 1998 to November 2000 and as a Research Associate at the Ontario Cancer Institute, Princess Margaret Hospital from April 1996 to September 1997.

Laszlo Radvanyi pursued their education from 1990 to 1996 at the University of Toronto, where they obtained a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology.
