Philip Awadalla

Director, Computational Biology at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research

Philip Awadalla has a strong background in genetics and computational biology. Philip served as the National Scientific Director at CanPath - Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow's Health since April 2018. Prior to that, they held roles such as the Director of Computational Biology and Senior Principal Investigator at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research since January 2015. Philip also served as the Executive Director at Genome Canada Technology Platform - CDIC from November 2014. Furthermore, Philip has held positions as a Professor at the University of Toronto since September 2016, and as the Executive Director at the Ontario Health Study since June 2015.
