Philip Awadalla

Philip Awadalla has a strong background in genetics and computational biology. Philip served as the National Scientific Director at CanPath - Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow's Health since April 2018. Prior to that, they held roles such as the Director of Computational Biology and Senior Principal Investigator at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research since January 2015. Philip also served as the Executive Director at Genome Canada Technology Platform - CDIC from November 2014. Furthermore, Philip has held positions as a Professor at the University of Toronto since September 2016, and as the Executive Director at the Ontario Health Study since June 2015. Previously, they were the Executive Director at CARTaGENE from November 2009 to July 2015, and an Associate Professor at Université de Montréal from September 2007 to December 2014.

Philip Awadalla has a Master of Science degree from the University of Toronto. Philip also holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Genetics from The University of Edinburgh.
