Erik Brown

Erik Brown is an accomplished professional in investment strategies and research within the fields of global affairs and risk management. Currently serving as an Investment Associate at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Erik contributes to global investment strategy since January 2023. Prior experiences include roles as a Research Associate and Research Intern at Global Risk Institute, as well as co-founding the Global Risk Observatory, where Erik provided insights into qualitative risks across sectors. Erik has a solid background in producing research for the Canadian financial services industry with a focus on geopolitical risks and has held assistant and analyst positions at esteemed institutions such as the University of Toronto and Sheridan College. Erik's academic credentials include a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University.
