Jose Luis Jauregui

Jose Luis Jauregui has a diverse work experience. Jose Luis started their career as an Industrial Engineering Intern at Corporacion Textil del Sur in 2017, where they were responsible for controlling dyeing processes and assisting with supervision and tracing of requirements in the process. Jose Luis then moved on to Banco de la Nacion in 2017 as an Organizational Development Intern, where they focused on structuring and redesigning processes and delivering lectures in operational risk workshops. In 2018, they joined Interbank as a Digital Transformation Trainee, gaining experience in driving digital transformation initiatives. Jose Luis then took on the role of Growth Hacker and later Product Owner at Interbank, where they contributed to product development and growth strategies. In 2020, they joined Ontop as a Product Manager, and later became the Lead Product Manager of the Financial Services Tribe. In this role, they led a team in developing a deep understanding of customers through product discovery, data analysis, and customer interviews. Jose Luis collaborated with multiple stakeholders to define a roadmap that balanced business needs, technical debt, and the long-term vision for Ontop financial services. Jose Luis also set clear product metrics, objectives, and key results that drove customer and business impact.

Jose Luis Jauregui has a diverse education history. In 2014 to 2018, they pursued a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Tecnológica del Perú, where they achieved high academic standing. Jose Luis then continued to expand their knowledge in engineering by studying industrial engineering at Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola from 2013 to 2014.

To develop their business and technology skills, Jose attended the Berkeley Haas Global Access Program at the University of California, Berkeley, for a brief period in 2019. Concurrently, they engaged in a program focusing on digital business, called Enterprise Digital Transformation, at CENTRUM PUCP.

In the future, Jose plans to pursue a Master's degree in Digital Product Management from Barcelona Technology School, starting in 2023 and finishing in 2024.

In addition, Jose has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills. These certifications include courses such as Data Aplicada a los Negocios and Diseño y Gestión de Productos Digitales from Colectivo23 and Top Leader Program and Curso de Engineering Management from Platzi. Jose Luis has also completed Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage and Management 3.0 from Management 3.0.
