Mark Hundal has an extensive work experience spanning several industries. Mark began their career as an Incentives Coordinator at Integra Business Solutions, where they executed employee incentive programs for clients including Mobile Oil, the AA, and Ford. Mark then worked as a Research Analyst at Integra Business Solutions before joining Telewest Communication as a Business Marketing Executive, providing support for B2B advertising sales.
Hundal then moved to Flextech Television, where they served as an Affiliate Distribution Manager, overseeing TV channel subscription and pay-per-view revenues across various platforms. Mark developed and marketed new products to expand distribution and increase income.
In 2001, Hundal joined Virgin Media TV and UKTV as a Distribution Controller. Mark managed over 40 commercial partnerships for a portfolio of 29 TV channels, handling commercial terms, contract negotiations, marketing, technical delivery, and regulation. Mark successfully grew revenues through new product launches, market expansion, and the exploitation of commercial rights.
Hundal's next role was as the Business and Projects Manager at City Gallery Wellington, part of the Wellington Museums Trust. Mark was responsible for commercial revenues, exhibition services, business planning, and reporting to stakeholders. Mark project-managed the gallery's opening post-development, conducted risk analysis, and negotiated sponsorship agreements.
Mark then took on the position of Commercial Manager at the Wellington Museums Trust, where they played a key role in delivering the Trust's vision within a financially sustainable operating environment. Mark developed and executed the Trust's first cross-institution commercial strategy, which led to a 21% increase in external revenues over three years. Mark also managed the visitor services operation, achieving a customer satisfaction rate of over 92%.
Hundal continued their career in the outdoor advertising industry, joining Adshel as the Head of Commercial AU. Mark held this role from September 2013 to April 2016. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in the company's commercial operations in Australia.
In May 2016, Hundal joined oOh! as the Head of Commercial NZ. Mark currently holds this position and is responsible for overseeing commercial activities in New Zealand.
Mark Hundal obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Southampton between 1989 and 1992.
