Nikhil Gogaté

Nikhil Gogaté has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Nikhil started their career as an RF Drive Test Engineer at Avion Systems in July 2006 and worked there until November 2007. At Ookla, Nikhil held multiple roles over the years. Nikhil began as a Sr. RF Design Engineer - 4G LTE (AT&T) in November 2007 and worked in that position until December 2013. Nikhil then transitioned to the Director of RF Field Operations from January 2014 to May 2015, where they implemented operational efficiency improvements and managed project delivery and customer support. From June 2015 to December 2016, Nikhil served as the Sr. Director of Global Business Strategy at Ookla, demonstrating their ability to define and execute a company's global strategy and drive revenue growth. Nikhil was subsequently promoted to the role of VP Global Business Strategy from January 2017 to September 2021, where they continued to make significant contributions. Currently, Nikhil is working as the Global Business Development at Ookla starting from July 2021. Nikhil Gogaté holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering, which they obtained from Drexel University between 2004 and 2006. Before that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Mumbai, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, Nikhil has certifications such as SOLiD Product Training & Certification from SOLiD Technologies, which they obtained in May 2015, and TE Connectivity DAS Installation & Commissioning certification.
