Jose Sierra

Jose Sierra has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Jose'smost recent position was as the Chief Technology & Information Officer at Ooredoo Myanmar from March 2022. Before that, they served as the Acting Chief Technology & Information Officer at the same company from November 2021 to February 2022. Prior to joining Ooredoo, Jose worked at Nokia Myanmar through Xair Malaysia as an E2E Planning Technical Leader from September 2017 to June 2018. Jose also held various roles at Nokia, including NPO Consultant/Technical Manager, where they were responsible for optimization projects and capacity management, from September 2016 to August 2017. Jose has also worked as a RAN Lead Consultant for Bell Telecommunications at Norconsult Telematics Ltd, a Technical Project Manager Network Optimization at Indosat, an NSN NPO Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks, an NSN academy trainer at Isatel Group, and a PM/TM/RAN Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks. Jose began their career as a Telecom engineer at Siemens S.A. Colombia.

From 1997 to 2002, Jose Sierra attended Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Jose obtained a professional certification in Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education in 2022.
