Jan Hellmich

Jan Hellmich is the current Chief Technology Officer at Opal. Prior to this, Jan was a Senior Software Engineer at Brex from December 2019 to September 2021. Before that, Jan worked as a Software Engineer at Dropbox from May 2016 to September 2019. Jan's previous experience also includes working as a software engineer at FutureAdvisor from January 2016 to April 2016 and as a consultant for the DEVELOP Program at NASA from August 2014 to December 2014. Additionally, Jan was an undergraduate researcher at Oakland University from May 2014 to July 2014 and an engineering intern at ThyssenKrupp from July 2012 to August 2012.

Jan Hellmich earned their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Alabama.

Jan Hellmich reports to Stephen Cobbe, CEO. They are on a team with Alex Maddox - Head Of Sales, Lance Larsen - Head of Solutions Engineering, and Thibault Jaigu - Head of EMEA.
