Lacriessia Malone

LaCriessia Malone, MA, serves as a Communications Specialist at Atkore since July 2023, where responsibilities include managing the company intranet to ensure clear communication that aligns with organizational values and objectives. In addition, LaCriessia is a Dallas Public Voices Fellow with The OpEd Project since June 2023. Previously, as a Communications and Events Specialist at IKEA from December 2022 to June 2023, LaCriessia collaborated with corporate leadership to develop communication strategies that enhance store visitation and employee engagement. LaCriessia's career began at Walmart as a Jewelry Sales Associate, followed by a role at Big Thought, progressing from Site Coordinator to Project Manager from 2017 to 2022, leading programs for over 1,000 children in the Dallas area. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Tarleton State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of North Texas.
