Claire Ulrich is an experienced professional in translation, editing, and localization, currently serving as a Sub-editor for French translations at IFEX since September 2020. Since February 2019, Claire has also contributed to the localization of the New York Times' 'Wirecutter' section in partnership with Le Monde. Previously, Claire worked at Le Nouvel Economiste, translating and managing teams for French editions of The Economist and The Financial Times from May 2013 to April 2020. Claire's extensive career includes launching the Global Voices in French website and community, managing content for The Daily Beast during the 2016 US election, and serving as a national radio columnist for Radio France. Additional experience encompasses roles with LinkedIn, CFI, and various editorial positions at well-known media outlets. Claire holds a specialized master's degree from ESIEE Paris and has pursued further education in technology for minority languages and graphic design.
