David McDonnell

David McDonnell has extensive experience in the IT industry, working in various roles as a lead developer and technical lead. David started their career in 2005 at Sentrio Technologies Limited as a Software Developer. David then moved on to Red Circle Technologies and Zamano (Formerly Red Circle Technologies) as a Lead Developer from 2007 to 2010. David also worked at Paypal as a Contract Lead Developer from 2010 to 2011 and at TMW as a Technical Lead in 2011. From 2012 to 2016, they served as a Lead Developer at Hugo & Cat. Currently, they are employed at OPEN Health and has held the position of Lead Developer from 2017 to 2020, and since November 2020, they have been the Lead Technical Architect / Business Analyst, leading a team and focusing on prototyping solutions and implementing best practices in the development lifecycle. David's expertise lies in gathering requirements from senior stakeholders and converting them into technical specifications.

David McDonnell attended Maynooth University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a 2.1 BSc degree in Computer Science & Software Engineering. David has also obtained additional certifications, including being a Sitecore 6.5 Certified Developer, Sitecore 7 Certified Developer, and Umbraco Developer Certified, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
