Trista Bamer currently serves as the Special Programs Coordinator at Open Window School, where responsibilities include researching, designing, and managing the middle school's experiential education program and special events, with a strong emphasis on DEIB principles. Previously, Trista was a 4th grade teacher at Open Window School and Snoqualmie Valley School District, focusing on integrating curriculum with a DEIB lens. Trista also taught middle school science at Mercer Island School District, facilitating various electives and engaging in numerous leadership roles within committees. Trista Bamer holds a Master in Teaching from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Washington.
