Janine Korovesis CPA

Janine Korovesis, CPA has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Janine began as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in 2008. From there, they worked as an Assurance Staff at EY from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they moved on to work as a Senior Consultant at Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services until 2013. Next, they became a Senior Corporate Accounting Lead at Accretive Health in 2013 and worked there until 2014. Janine then moved to Google and served as a Global Revenue Accountant until 2016. After that, they served as a Project Controller at X, the moonshot factory until 2018. Also, in 2016 they joined the board of advisors of the PocketPatientMD company and worked in that role until 2018. Currently, Korovesis serves as the Controller at OpenAI since 2018 and was promoted to VP Finance in February 2022.

Janine Korovesis, CPA earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Afterwards, they went on to earn a Master of Accounting from the same institution. Janine is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and obtained certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in September 2010, as well as from the California Board of Accountancy in September 2020.
