Tobias Peyerl

Tobias Peyerl is a seasoned professional with a robust background in risk management, intelligence analysis, and international law. Currently serving as the Head of Intelligence Analysis & Trust Risk Governance at Google, Tobias leads a large team focused on safeguarding user safety by managing trust risks related to various critical issues. Previous roles within Google included Senior Manager and Manager of Strategic Threat Intelligence, where insights were transformed into actionable strategies for addressing significant threats. In addition to extensive experience in the private sector, Tobias has held notable positions at the United Nations, providing strategic policy advice and managing critical analysis teams. An academic contributor, Tobias has lectured at esteemed institutions such as the University of California, Berkeley, and Columbia University, emphasizing global political economy and policy-making. Tobias holds a PhD in International Law from the Geneva Graduate Institute and has pursued advanced studies at Harvard Law School and other prestigious universities.
