Erik Elmore

Erik Elmore is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across notable companies. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Opendoor since August 2021, Erik previously worked at Akamai Technologies, where a significant contribution was the overhaul of the open-source Terraform provider in Golang. As Principal Engineer at Syzygy Integration, Erik led engineering projects for the US government, focusing on proposal development, project design, and mentoring. At Amazon Web Services, Erik served as Systems Development Engineer II, designing software services for operational needs. Erik’s career also includes roles as Systems Engineer at Time Warner Cable, Software Engineer for the FBI on a contract basis, and Software Development Research Engineer at Stratfor (Infraworks). Erik began academic pursuits at Jefferson Community College in Kentucky in 1999.
