Allan Reuben

Allan Reuben's work experience includes a role as a Firmware Engineer at Opener starting in 2022. At the Jewish Canadian Youth Model United Nations (JCYMUN), they served as the Secretary General, Deputy Secretary General, Under Secretary General - Operations, and Committee Chair from 2016 to 2022. Allan organized an annual Model United Nations conference, hosted notable keynote speakers, and grew conference attendance by 40%. Allan also worked at McGill University as a NASA & CSA Deep Space Food Challenge - Microgreens Production Team Member, where they researched and designed a plant growth system for spaceflight. Allan was a Software and Information Technology Intern at Medicom Inc., responsible for creating and maintaining SQL databases, developing scripts, and leading an initiative to replace a legacy system. Additionally, Allan was a Flight Computer R&D Team Member at McGill Rocket Team and a Desktop Technician Intern at Rodeo FX, where they managed server upgrades and repairs, deployed an inventory management system, and improved IT communication.

Allan Reuben began their education in 2016 at Marianopolis College, where they pursued a DEC degree in Pure & Applied Science. Allan attended the college until 2018. Following this, Allan enrolled in McGill University in 2018 and is expected to complete their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer & Software Engineering in 2022.
