Nancy Tan

Nancy Tan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nancy is currently working at OpenGov Inc. as a Product Manager since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Product Marketing Manager at OpenGov Inc. from September 2020 to July 2023.

Before joining OpenGov Inc., Nancy worked at the NYS Office of Information Technology Services as the Strategy and Operations Director for General Government, Technology, and Innovation from October 2019 to March 2020.

In 2018, Nancy was a Fellow at the NYC Mayor's Office of the Chief Technology Officer for a brief period from June to August.

From 2013 to 2017, Nancy worked at TravelClick as a Product Manager. Their responsibilities included analyzing performance metrics, driving B2B field enablement, managing operational changes, coordinating quote-to-cash implementation, directing post-merger integration, and guiding go-to-market strategy.

Prior to this, Nancy was a Princeton-in-Asia Fellow and Project Manager in Marketing & IT at WildChina Travel from September 2010 to December 2012. Nancy also served as a Clinician at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes for a short period from June to August 2010.

Nancy began their career as a Tutor in Mathematics & Chinese language at Vanderbilt University from September 2007 to May 2010. Nancy also gained experience as an Intern of the Creative Director at frog design in 2009 and as an Intern of the Operating Board at Alignment Nashville of the Mayor's Office in 2009.

Nancy Tan's education history begins in 2002 when they attended Union City High School and graduated with a high school degree in 2006. Following this, they went on to study at Vanderbilt University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude. Their major was Mathematics & East Asian Studies, with a minor in Economics.

During their undergraduate years, in 2008, Nancy participated in CET Academic Programs at Capital Normal University, focusing on Beijing Chinese Studies. In 2009, they also took part in CET Academic Programs at Donghua University, studying Globalization in Shanghai.

Later on, Nancy pursued a Master of Public Policy at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago from 2017 to 2019. However, the specific field of study during their master's program is not provided.
