Wei Huang

Wei Huang has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Prior to joining OpenGov Inc. in 2017, they worked at Neustar, Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer from December 2013 to April 2017. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at Apsalar from November 2011 to November 2013. Wei also briefly worked as a UI/UX Designer at LG Electronics Smart TV in June to August 2011. At OpenGov Inc., Wei has progressed in their role, starting as a Lead Software Engineer from April 2017 to January 2020, then becoming an Engineering Manager from January 2020 to January 2022, and currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager from January 2022 onwards.

Wei Huang completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science - Information Technology at Carnegie Mellon University from the years 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, Wei Huang earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in E-Commerce from the University of La Verne, attending from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Wei Huang obtained certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in November 2016.
