Anurag Kanase

Field Application Scientist at Opentrons

Anurag Kanase has a wide range of work experience in various scientific and academic roles. Anurag started their career at HLRS - High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart in 2013 as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft. Anurag then moved on to Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in 2014, where they worked as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft until 2015. Anurag then joined University of Stuttgart in 2015 for their Master Thesis on Fabrication of next-generation nanodiamond scanning probe. In 2017, they co-founded Molecules in Motion and served as a Co-founder until 2019. Anurag then continued their academic journey at Northeastern University in 2019, where they took on multiple roles including Grader for BIOE 3210 Bioelectricity and Mathematical Methods for Bioengineering, as well as a Graduate Student Ambassador. Anurag's next career move was to DropGenie in 2020, where they worked as a Test Engineer until 2021. Currently, they are employed at Opentrons Labworks Inc. as a Process Development Scientist, starting in February 2021.

Anurag Kanase completed their Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Northeastern University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Master's degree in Physics from the University of Stuttgart, which they pursued from 2013 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Anurag also acquired a certification in the Analysis of SARS-COV 2 Genomics Data from Pine Biotech - Applied Learning. Applied Analytics in July 2020.
