Brian Cooper

Brian Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Brian currently works at Opentrons Labworks Inc. as a Software Engineering Lead since November 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Software Engineer at the same company from June 2018 to November 2021.

Before joining Opentrons Labworks Inc., Brian worked at Minibar Delivery as a Software Engineer from September 2015 to May 2018. Brian gained experience in the field of genomics as a Genomic Software Developer at Rokas Lab Vanderbilt University from May 2013 to August 2015. During this role, Brian was responsible for developing genestation.org, a genomic web tool focused on preterm birth research, and handled UI/UX design and implementation.

Additionally, Brian had a brief experience as a Dockhand at Copper River Seafoods in June 2012.

Brian Cooper completed their Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics/Musical Arts (Clarinet) from Vanderbilt University between 2011 and 2015. Prior to their university education, they attended Menlo School from 2007 to 2011.
