Chris Pankow

Chris Pankow is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Data Science at OpenX since October 2019, Chris has progressed through various roles including Data Scientist IV, Team Lead, and Data Scientist III. Prior to OpenX, Chris held the position of CIERA Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University from August 2015 to October 2019 and was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from August 2011 to August 2015. Chris began a strong academic foundation as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Florida, where a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics was obtained in 2011, having previously earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005.
