Adriana Farias

Adriana Farias has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Adriana started their career in 2014 as an Economic Development Consultant at Research Consultants International FDI, Inc. In 2017, they worked as a Country Specialist for Venezuela and the Caribbean at The World Bank. Adriana also served as a Principal Consultant at the Center for Democracy and Development in the Americas during the same year. In 2018, they joined The Athena Advisors Consulting as a Senior Consultant. From 2019 onwards, they have been associated with Operation Smile, where they held positions such as Development Associate for Latin America and the Caribbean and later Director and Senior Director of Strategy & Partnerships.

Adriana Farias has a diverse education history. Adriana is currently a candidate for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at USC Marshall School of Business, with an expected completion date in 2026. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Political Science and International Development from McGill University in 2017. Their undergraduate studies were completed at Concordia University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Economics and Political Science, graduating in 2014. Adriana also attended Cairo American College for high school from 2006 to 2008, and before that, they completed their secondary education at Institutos Educacionales Asociados in Caracas, Venezuela from 1998 to 2005.
