Alisha Kabani

Alisha Kabani has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Kumon Teaching Assistant at Kumon Canada, Inc. from an unspecified period in 2016 to 2017. After that, they worked as a Commission Sales Associate at La Vie En Rose from July 2020 to August 2021. Alisha then had multiple roles at the Faculty of Health Sciences - Western University, including being a Research Assistant for a bioethical research study funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research from September 2022 to April 2023. Alisha also served as a Technical Assistant for the Global Health Equity Hub from June 2022 to April 2023, and as an Undergraduate Student Research Intern, where they received a stipend to support bioethical and biotech research projects from May 2022 to August 2022. Alisha joined the Western University School of Health Studies as a Student Teaching Associate in September 2022, where they supported nursing students and conducted evaluations. Alisha also worked as a Junior Vice President of Finance (Western University Chapter) and a Sponsorship Director (Western University Chapter) at Operation Smile, starting from August 2021. Alisha is currently working as a Clinical Research Assistant at the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) in the Department of Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology under the supervision of Dr. Andréanne Zizzo to support various clinical research projects. Additionally, they work as a First Aid Responder at the Milton BMX Track, providing immediate medical response and managing on-site injuries at provincial and national competitions.

Alisha Kabani is currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) with a Honours Specialization in Health and Life Sciences at Western University. Alisha started their studies in 2020 and is expected to graduate in 2024. In addition to their degree, Alisha has obtained various certifications, including Foundations for Intercultural Competence & Global Engagement, Global Skills Opportunity Certificate, Critical & Ethical Global Engagement Certificate, Gender Norms & Sexual Violence Certificate, Foundations for International Mobility & Engagement, Building Inclusivity through Anti-Racism Certificate, Professional Development Certificate, DELF B1 certification, and Bronze Medallion Certification. The dates of completion for these certifications are not provided.
