Sari Multala

Sari Multala currently serves as the Minister of Science and Culture at the Ministry of Education & Culture since June 2023, while also being a Member of Parliament in the Parliament of Finland since April 2015. In addition, Sari Multala has been a member of the city council and the city board in Vantaa from January 2013. Sari Multala has an extensive background in sports administration, having been part of the Finnish Olympic Committee as a member of the Athletes Commission from 2008 to November 2023, Vice Chairman of the Board from November 2016 to June 2023, and a board member from October 2012 to May 2013. In municipal leadership, Sari Multala held the position of Chairman of the City Board in Vantaa from May 2017 to June 2023 and served as Chairman of Uudenmaan kokoomus from April 2018 to November 2019. Sari Multala's educational background includes a Master of Science in Economics, Management Science from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, completed between 1997 and 2005.
